What's Happening at Atwell

Welcome to Atwell Township Volunteer Fire Department’s website.

As Chief, I would like to say thank you to those citizens and businesses that have supported the fine men and women of our department. Our dedicated personnel spend countless hours training in order to provide the best service to those in need.

We welcome anyone or group who would like to meet our firefighters and tour our station.

Updates:

-NCDOT Contractor, NJR, has been working on the realignment of the intersection of NC152 and NC 153 (West of China Grove). On April 7, 2025, at 9:00 am they will start to utilize an offsite detour for 2 weeks for a majority of the construction work.
