ABOUT US

Atwell was founded in 1956 by a group that decided our community needed protection in emergency situations. We have continued to grow, we now have two stations and we have purchased land located very close to our main station to build a new station to better serve our community. We have around the clock staff on duty to help provide assistance to our community and our neighboring departments.

With all our Firefighting certifications, we are now certified in Heavy Rescue, Agriculture Rescue, and High Angle Rescue. We have also added, The Great Wall of Rescue for grain bin rescues, to our equipment.

We are always looking for more volunteers so if you live in our area, stop by and pick up an application to join us.
